Themed Events & Evenings

During the summer months we organise themed days and evenings that offer a truly unique experience.
Here are a few examples of events organised at S’Ozzastru:

• “Su Tusorzu” is sheep shearing which takes place in May or June to relieve the sheep of their thick fleeces, ready for the summer heat. Shearing has always been a ritual, a time when the whole family comes together for a very sociable event.
• Shepherd’s Lunch or Dinner is a meal al fresco, served in the shade of the ancient oleasters with the Pastori (Shepherd’s) menu and Dorgali dishes from an age-old tradition.
• Folk Evening: an evening of traditional music, dance and song offered with typical Sardinian hospitality and a festival atmosphere.
